… hence this clever DIY bottle-opener guitar ! Just because you may want a fresh beer at band rehearsal or at a gig !

Who doesn’t like a cold beer after a long rehearsing session or after a wild performance ? There is a long tradition of musicians and beer going hand in hand, and guitar players are no exception. Want proof ? Try to estimate how many songs have been written about beer !

Well, you just can’t because there have been countless songs written on the subject over the years. Beer has been a popular theme in music for centuries. There are light-hearted songs, humorous songs, contemplative songs, etc…

Think “99 Bottles of Beer” traditional song, “Beer for My Horses” by Toby Keith, “Beer Can” by the Beastie Boys, , “Drinkin’ Beer” by Hank Williams Jr., “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer” by Amos Milburn which features the whole damn bar (you might be more familiar with John Lee Hooker or George Thorogood’s versions)…

It’s safe to say that the list could go on, and there will continue to be new songs written about beer for many years to come.

However, it’s important to remember that it’s possible to enjoy beer without letting it become a problem. Let beer become songs, instead !
