The client wanted his custom guitar to have a unique shape – what’s more unique than a penis-shaped guitar, right ? – and no scratchplate, so the luthier had creative freedom in the design. The body is made of tulip wood and hand-cut, and the neck is from a Stagg guitar that was modified to match one of the client’s doodles.

The guitar has a Stratocaster-style setup with three single-coil pickups, a volume control for each pickup, and a three-way switch. Because there is no scratchplate, the pickups and switch had to be routed in from the back. The pickup covers and toggle were also painted pink to match the overall aesthetic of the guitar.
