24-string bass guitar madness… Meet Godzilla aka Prat Basses Godzilla C3-WTF-24 24-string Bass !
In 2014, Chris Cardone, owner of Kalium strings, asked for help in building the largest bass guitar possible. The luthiers at Prat Basses took on the challenge. Together they designed this giant green 24-string bass with a large headstock and a special bridge to hold all the strings.
When asked by Premier Guitar why he created such a large instrument, Cardone said, “Why not?”. In fact, he had the idea of constructing this bass to demonstrate the wide variety of bass strings available from Kalium Strings.
