Now that’s a quite disturbing design ! I like the eyeballs volume and tone control knobs but I would be afraid to use them… They look too squishy for my tastes. Well, the whole guitar looks kind of squishy anyway.

Gelvin-road-kill-1

Perfect axe for a horror metal band. As a matter of fact, this custom Gelvin “road kill” guitar is one of a kind. It was built in early 2013 as a stage prop for a horror metal band, and used for promotions.

Gelvin road kill (4)

The guitar features a poplar body, maple neck, and birdseye maple fretboard. The fret wire is made of EVO hypoallergenic material, and the pickups are Gelvin “Demonic punch”. The push pull tone control allows for coil splitting in single coil mode, and the push pull volume control is a high pass filter. The tremolo is a Floyd Rose custom painted in kandy red, and the scale length is 25.5″. The radius of the fretboard is 12″, and the cavities are Gelvin “zero tolerance”. (source)
